Day 2
As promised, here’s a photo from our Canopy Tour… and a video as well! Check it out. After the fun, when coming back out from the zip-line course, we encountered several individuals admiring our bikes. We shared with them the purpose of our ride, and handed them a couple Camp Hope flyers.
Two of them showed special interest. One had a friend who has a cable show with a similar mission to help wounded veterans. And he promised to share Camp Hope, its message and work with this friend. The other individual was a fly-fishing guide. He said he couldn’t offer a friend with a cable program, but said what he could offer were his services. The message is getting out… one person at a time.
After leaving Beckley, we continued our ride and made our way to Louisville, Kentucky. We were met there by Mike A., his lovely wife Deana, and members of his club the Guns of Justice. We had a great time with them and they made us feel at home. Their plan is to have a Poker Run in support of Camp Hope. Thanks Mike and Deana, and all the friends we met from Guns of Justice!
